SEARS 572 January 8, 2004 Launch Report
The Southeast Alabama Rocketry Society held a launch on January 8th, 2005 at Samson, AL. The weather was overcast and light rain limited the time for launches. The temp was nice at 70 degress and winds were light. There were 17 flyers with 57 flights total.
We had the "Clone Bash or Scratch" Event. The club was very responsive to this event and we had about 30 flights in those categories. John Stein won the draw for a prize and he selected the EAT Tri-Atomic. John's Sputnik launch is shown below.

Zach Cleland is shown below with his Loc Vulcanite with a great stars and stripes paint scheme. He is proud of that rocket. His Level 1 attempt was a success.

Marty Wiggins on the left is being
congratulated by his Dad, Randy Wiggins, after his successful
Level 2 flight. The rocket is a modified Public Enemy Predator
launched on a J420.
We enjoyed having Max Gray, Lee Brock, and Earle Henson from North Alabama. They brought lots of high power including the 50 lb Miss Jeri rocket on a M1350 shown below.
