The next monthly S.E.A.R.S. Launch is Saturday January 14th at Samson, AL. We setup at 8:30 AM, the waiver opens for launches at 9:00AM. We usually go until about 4:00 PM. Beginners are welcome. The photos from the October 15th SEARS launch are here. The next SEARS launch is November 5th. It includes a demo for Dothan students. The students may bring the AL astronut version of the Art Applewhite 13mm free rockets. Bring your several of your own as a mass launch is planned.

The field will not be ready for the Sept 24th Date. So the next SEARS launch will be October 8th in Samson, AL.  There will be a Research Launch October 9th.

The dates below are planned for the Samson AL site. As you can see we will have lots of opportunities after the peanuts are harvested. All beginners, TARC and USLI Teams are welcome. John Hansel is in contact with the owners crew and will be able to give us the all clear to launch.

The field has not been planted so we can have the launch in Samson.

The rain and winds in the Saturday weather forecast will be poor launch conditions and the field will be wet. We are hoping for good weather on March 12th. Let your friends know who were planning to come. Always check this site before departing to the field.
