Bloopers do attract the most attention. I launched an Oregon Scientific ATC-2K Action Cam on my PML 4 inch AMRAAM. The flight was great but to our surprise the camera was missing from the rocket. I did not see it fall off and many of my fellow SEARS members helped me search. I gave up on it, packed up and left. After meeting the guys for a early supper I decided the $130 investment was too much to lose. We went back to the field an I found it. My thoughts were “found” but would it have the video and would it work again, The answer to both questions was yes! It turns out I only clipped the camera in the supplied mount. Well at apogee when the shockcord went tight it flung the camera off and a free fall ensued from 1900 feet. This made for a great YouTube video. It has over 9800 views. In fact the video was used in a Oregon Scientific ATC-2K promo.  Here is the video.
